Docklight - this is a service program of testing, analysis and simulation of serial communication protocols (RS232, RS485/422 and others). This program allows you to monitor the communication between two serial devices or test serial communication, a separate device. Docklight - an easy-to-use program that will operate on any standard PC using Windows Vista/XP/2000/NT 4 / 98 operating system.
Docklight RS232 Terminal / RS232 Monitor Simulating serial protocols - Docklight can send out user-defined sequences according to the protocol used and it can react to incoming sequences. This makes it possible to simulate the behavior of a serial communication device, which is particularly useful for generating test conditions that are hard to reproduce with the original device (e.g. problem conditions).

Docklight manages a list of such data sequences for you and allows the user to perform certain actions, for example: a screenshot of all communication data before or after receiving the error message.
- The response to incoming data - Docklight allows you to determine the answers when you receive certain communications sequences. This allows you to make the basic simulator for your serial device within a few minutes. The program also helps you to analyze certain error by sending commands diagnosis after receiving the error message.
- Docklight was successfully tested with various USB-to-RS232 converter.
